This article provides a comprehensive review of the literature on the efficacy of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) as an intervention for individuals with chronic health conditions. The review examines various studies, meta-analyses, and systematic reviews published between 2010 and 2021. The aim is to assess the overall effectiveness of MBSR in improving physical and psychological well-being, reducing symptom severity, and enhancing coping mechanisms among patients with chronic health conditions. Additionally, this review identifies potential areas for future research and highlights the importance of considering MBSR as a viable adjunctive therapy in the holistic management of chronic health conditions.
